Dr. Tang
Endodontist, aka Root Canal Specialist
Dr. Xianli Tang has served Southeast Michigan community as an endodontist since 2014. She has enjoyed great clinical successes and fortunately been rewarded with patient satisfaction.
Dr. Tang enjoyed supporting patient care for the general dentists. She understands how to be part of the team from her own experience as a general dentist in Massachusetts for three years.
As an avid learner for her whole life and having excelled at all subjects at school, Dr. Tang took a long time to find endodontics as a career she enjoys, which calls for compassion, concentration and precision. Before becoming an endodontist eventually, she received Master of Science degrees in biology, biostatistics and endodontics from University of Michigan, and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from University of Toronto. During her endodontic residency at University of Michigan, Dr. Tang was a recipient of AAE Research Grant, Delta Dental Foundation Dental Master's Thesis Award and John F. Corcoran Award.
With her knowledge in multiple disciplines, Dr. Tang employs evidence-based clinical studies to guide her clinical practice and keeps updated with new knowledge and technology.
While not working or volunteering at local dental society and in the community, Dr. Tang loves spending time with her family. She enjoys yoga, hiking, kayaking, traveling, learning new languages and watching movies, while dreaming of returning to her previous hobbies including painting and fencing.
