Modern techonology
We are proud to employ modern technologies in our office to achieve clinical excellency and patient safety. Efficiency has been largely improved with these technologies but sufficient time will always be dedicated to complicated cases so that quality is never compromised.
Dental Operating Microscope
Dental microscope provides unbeatable illumination and magnified images with superior definition, both of which are godsend for the complex tasks an endodontist need to accomplish in root canal treatment and apical surgeries.

The root canal system harbors many secrete-hiding places for bacteria and diseased tissues, including very small canals, nooks and crannies. All our procedures are completed with dental microscope, which means all the structure are carefully examined and treated to help us achieve maximum clinical success.
Digital Radiology
We use high-resolution X-ray sensors that reduce exposure to radiation and instantly produce images with superior details for detection of pathology and anomalies.
CBCT
CBCT takes us onto an internal journey into the jaw structure and root canal space without actually touching the tooth. 3D images are constructed to clearly demonstrate the bone defect in the jaw and complex root canal structure, which might not be visible on 2D X-ray devices.

Our CBCT machine has the exclusive Carestream Metal Artifact Reduction (MAR) technology. Implants, crowns, metal posts and fillings in the mouth can cause significant artifacts in the images, which can hamper our ability to detect critical structures such as root fracture. MAR is the new technology to maximize the power of 3D imaging.

We will explain the benefits of CBCT for each individual case to the patient. This important diagnostic and planning tool is especially useful for many cases, including all surgical cases, many cases with suspected crack, fracture or resorption.

Piezoelectric Surgical Unit
Micro-Piezo Surgery brings revolutionary progress on modern microsurgery aided by dental microscope. It provides better visual access, minimizes bone trauma, protects critical structures such as nerves and blood vessels. As a result, surgery performed with piezoelectric instruments improves safety, accuracy, patient comfort and speeds recovery.

Dr. Tang trained with prestigious surgeons Dr. Stephen P. Niemczyk and Dr. Mohamed I. Fayad to adopt this modern technique in our office.
